The Commissioners of Irish Lights hereby give notice that on Wednesday 23rd October 2002, or as soon thereafter as circumstances permit, a lighted buoy with the following characteristics will be established.

NAME:NO 1 RUSK
Latitude: 52° 28.5' N
Longitude: 06° 11.8' W
Type: Green Conical Starboard Hand Buoy
Light Character: Fl (2) G 5s

The existing unlighted buoy in the same position will be withdrawn at the same time.
At the same time the No 2 Rusk Buoy will have its character altered as follows:
NAME: NO 2 RUSK
Latitude: 52° 28.6' N
Longitude: 06° 12.6' W
Type: Red Can Port Hand Buoy
New Light Character: Fl (2) R 5s

A Radio Navigational Warning will be issued when these changes have taken place.
