Irish Lights, through its Procurement Section, purchases a diverse range of goods, works and services and advertises its requirements in line with EU and Irish Procurement legislation. The primary objective of the Procurement Section in Irish Lights is to obtain value for money in the purchase of goods and services and to ensure on time delivery to the appropriate approved specification and in doing so meet all legal requirements. Irish Lights abides by the guidelines set out by the Public Procurement Policy Unit in the “Ethics in public Procurement” statement.
Irish lights procurement activities are conducted by the procurement team based in Dun Laoghaire. Invitations to tender will be advertised through Irish government procurement website eTenders, www.etenders.gov.ie, and on the Official journal of the European Union, as required.
